Theme 4: Viticulture and winemaking itineraries for Chenin Blanc in a changing environment

  • Issues to be addressed: The aim of this topic is to present scientific and technical knowledge concerning viticultural and oenological aspects of Chenin and to propose new research work on the adaptation of our practices in response to the climate issues.

  • Considered contributions: The abstracts should be about soil management, the presence and management of agro-ecological infrastructure, viticultural and oenological management of Chenin in a context of a rapid climate evolution and  about environmental regulations. Research results on adaptation of production methods and systems (viticultural and oenological) could be presented, if possible in relation with the sensorial quality of the wines as a result.
